Overview

Vince is a litigation and zoning counsel of choice for Fortune 500 companies, numerous home builders, developers and property owners.

He has guided numerous clients through permitting processes and litigation involving receiverships, zoning, real estate, title insurance, construction, lender liability, condemnation, and association disputes.

Experience

Vince procured a seven-figure judgment for a commercial property owner in a construction dispute with its general contractor.

Representing the minority owners of a real estate development company who claimed a breach of fiduciary duty, he obtained a seven-figure judgment and expulsion of the majority interest holder.

Vince obtained an outright victory at trial and on appeal to the Missouri Supreme Court for a homebuilder against claims based on alleged violations of a recorded declaration of covenants, along with claims of civil conspiracy and tortious interference of rights and expectancies.

Vince has represented receivers, secured creditors and property owners in multiple receivership actions.

Defending an owners' association in an action alleging various breaches of duties, he prevailed at trial on all counts, including his client’s counterclaim for fees, all of which were confirmed on appeal.

Vince successfully sued a municipality to enforce development and zoning rights for a commercial developer of a 75-acre commercial/retail mixed-use development in St. Louis County that involved public financing.

He has litigated and prevailed in numerous other cases involving title to real estate, including quiet title actions, boundary disputes, adverse possession, receiverships, condemnation, the establishment and/or termination of fee interests, liens, easements and licenses.

Vince litigated and resolved construction disputes and mechanic’s liens on a $1.4 million renovation to residential property.

He litigated and resolved construction disputes, lien claims and related matters on the St. Louis Union Station Renovation Project.
