Overview

Lisa concentrates her practice in the fields of real estate and general business law. She represents clients in a broad range of real estate endeavors and counsels institutional lenders and borrowers in commercial financing, development and construction transactions.

An experienced real estate lawyer, Lisa’s practice focuses on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, construction, leasing and financing for her clients. She structures, drafts and negotiates purchase and sale contracts, loan and security agreements, like-kind exchange agreements, commercial leases (office, retail, restaurant, ground, industrial and warehouse), easement agreements, subdivision indentures, reciprocal easement agreements, restrictive covenant agreements and sale/leaseback agreements.

In addition to advising clients on office, multi-family, retail and mixed use projects, Lisa also represents institutional lenders and borrowers in a variety of commercial financing transactions, including construction financing, and helps owners and contractors negotiate construction contracts, design/build contracts, and architect contracts.

Counsel to numerous owners and developers of shopping centers throughout the United States.

Counsel to borrowers in connection with construction loans, permanent loans, conduit loans and franchise loans.

Counsel to exchangors in connection with IRC § 1031 like-kind exchanges and reverse exchanges.

Counsel to lenders in connection with loan origination.
